Position: Video Editor
First Care Medical is seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in creating compelling video content that showcases our company, services, and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives and requirements
- Edit raw footage into high-quality videos that align with our brand and messaging
- Incorporate graphics, music, and sound effects to enhance the overall video production
- Ensure all videos are delivered on time and meet the company's standards of quality
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our videos
- Manage and organize video files and assets to ensure efficient and effective workflow
- Work closely with the creative team to brainstorm and develop new video ideas
- Review and provide feedback on video scripts and storyboards
- Participate in video shoots as needed, including setting up and operating cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
- Collaborate with external vendors and contractors when necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in video editing and production
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid
- Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and exporting processes
- Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus
- Strong storytelling skills and ability to bring ideas to life through video
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus, but not required
