Structural Steel Detailer
Company Overview
We are a leading construction firm specializing in structural steel fabrication and erection for commercial and industrial projects. We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Detailer to join our team.

Position Summary
The Structural Steel Detailer will create detailed drawings and models for structural steel components, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. Reporting to the Detailing Manager, this role supports fabrication and erection processes.

Key Responsibilities

* Produce detailed shop and erection drawings for structural steel components using AutoCAD.
* Review project plans, specifications, and engineering drawings to ensure accuracy.
* Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and project managers to resolve design issues.
* Prepare bills of materials and connection details for fabrication.
* Ensure drawings comply with industry standards (e.g., AISC) and project requirements.
* Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions.

Qualifications

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in structural steel design and detailing.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed drawings.
* Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
