Job Description
Microsoft's Global Media Team is seeking a Senior Programmatic Channels Specialist who will work across all of Microsoft's lines of business to develop and drive channel level best practices, provide strategic consultation on programmatic campaigns, and drive innovation in our programmatic advertising strategies. **Responsibilities**
+ Channel Experience: Serve as the channel-level resource for programmatic advertising, providing channel-level insights and identify emerging channel trends across Microsoft's programmatic campaign portfolio and the programmatic landscape.
+ Best Practices: Establish, socialize, and ensure adherence to channel-level best practices for Microsoft's global paid media campaigns.
+ Strategic Consultation: Consult on campaign channel strategies as needed, helping to plan and optimize performance and achieve business objectives.
+ Innovation: Drive innovation among Microsoft's platform partners, including publishers and technology partners, to enhance Microsoft's global programmatic capabilities.
+ Relationship Management: Nurture strategic relationships with key platform and partners to advance Microsoft's priorities and represent the Microsoft Global Media team in the programmatic industry and communities.
+ Cross-Team Collaboration: Work across multiple Microsoft Global Media teams, each managing unique lines of business and campaign objectives, to ensure cohesive and optimized programmatic strategies.
+ Education and Training: Help educate the Global Media team on programmatic best practices, platform capabilities, and industry trends.

**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 4+ years experience in programmatic advertising.
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 4+ years experience with programmatic platforms (Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), Supply Side Platforms (SSPs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs))
+ 4+ years experience presenting complex information clearly and concisely.
+ Experience creating and enforcing best practices across cross functional teams.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
+ 8+ years experience in media, marketing,
+ OR advertising on the client
+ OR agency side.
+ 8+ years experience working across digital media channels (e.g., pay-per-lead, social, SEM, programmatic buying, addressable TV).
+ 8+ years experience using data-driven media tactics, including advanced targeting models, measurement and learning plans, making optimizations based on data.
+ 8+ years experience managing projects (e.g., communications, internal stakeholder management timelines, prioritization, road mapping).
Media IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
