Job Description

We are seeking a Payroll Specialist to oversee payroll processing and timekeeping operations onsite for one of our key clients in Austin, TX. This is a salaried role with a typical schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, plus occasional Saturdays onsite and Sundays remote. This is a full-time, onsite position and may include discretionary bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a payroll team

• Manage all payroll processing, auditing, and timekeeping functions

• Utilize systems including Fieldglass, Timerack, and Avionté

• Resolve badging issues, missed punches, and time discrepancies

• Audit payroll and per diem to ensure accuracy and compliance

• Consult with contract employees regarding payroll questions or concerns

• Ensure all hires are accurately reflected in payroll records

Qualifications:

• Previous payroll processing and timekeeping experience required

• Experience managing or mentoring a small team preferred

• Strong attention to detail and ability to audit for accuracy

• Familiarity with Fieldglass, Timerack, or Avionté a plus

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred

• Flexible to work occasional weekends and longer hours as needed
