Position Overview

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at AutismCOE, you’ll play a vital role in providing one-on-one ABA therapy that fosters growth and independence for children with autism. Working closely under the supervision of a BCBA, you’ll help clients build essential life skills and achieve meaningful progress in a mission-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized ABA therapy sessions under BCBA direction
  
• Implement behavior support plans specific to each client’s needs
  
• Prepare session materials and maintain an organized therapy environment
  
• Accurately collect and input behavioral data into clinical systems
  
• Complete daily session notes and documentation on time
  
• Maintain ongoing communication with your supervising BCBA
  
• Participate in staff training, evaluations, and team meetings
  
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with clients and their families
  
• Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain client confidentiality
  

Qualifications

• Active RBT certification or previous ABA experience (required)
  
• High school diploma (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, or a related field preferred)
  
• Experience working with children or individuals with autism
  
• Strong communication skills, patience, and a nurturing approach
  

Requirements

• Current RBT certification
  
• Proof of high school diploma or transcripts
  
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
  
• Passion for delivering high-quality client support
  
• Ability to react quickly to client movements and needs
  
• Capable of standing and walking for most of the workday (up to 75%)
  
• Physically able to bend, kneel, squat, crawl, and sit on the floor for extended periods
  
• Ability to move quickly over short distances (up to 100 feet)
  
• Must pass a criminal background check
  
• Willingness to commute up to 30 minutes to client homes or clinic sites
