Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Junior Network Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will assist in the service delivery and support of eMazzanti products and Services that typically, although not exclusively surround the Microsoft Ecosystem. This role involves working closely with customers to resolve problems both on the phone and in person. This is an entry level job designed to give you the exposure you need to learn and grown and start to build your career.

Key Responsibilities:  

• Network Support: Assist in the installation, configuration, and support of network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls. 
• Maintenance: Perform routine network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, and security configurations. 
• Monitoring: Monitor network performance to ensure system availability and reliability. 
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve network issues, collaborating with senior engineers for complex problems. 
• Security: Support and administer firewall environments in line with IT security policies. 
• Documentation: Maintain accurate network documentation and reports on network operational status.

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:  

• Basic understanding of network infrastructure and hardware. 
• Ability to resolve technical problems over the phone and in person 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Modern Workplace and basic understanding of cybersecurity.
• Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, routers, and switches. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team. 
• Certifications or credentialed education in IT
• Relevant certifications like the Network Plus or Comptia are a plus. 

Experience  

• Prior work experience required with a minimum 1 year in any job role.
