Job Type: Full-time.

Salary: 35,000 per year plus Bonuses based on exp.

NoVa Moonstone Hospitality Group is looking for a full-time Assistant Manager to operate them would be newly remodeled Comfort Inn property located near Alpharetta. Applicants must be dependable, customer service oriented, able to lead a staff of 10 or more, oversee day-to-day operations, and be team players and a motivator.

Assistant Manager:

The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel including hiring, training, sales, guest service and satisfaction, associate satisfaction, owner satisfaction, revenue management, and timely reporting.

Assistant Manager will ensure smooth operations to remain competitive in every area to provide the best guest experience, achieve budgetary goals and maintain high employee morale.

Job Requirements:

  • Complete all required brand-specific training.
  • Adhere to all Franchise and property-specific brand standards.
  • Assist in developing operating budgets and operating expenses.
  • Analyze and explain all budget variances.
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff/associates as needed.
  • Inspect guests’ rooms, public access areas, and outside grounds for cleanliness and appearance and implement action plans regarding upgrading and/or maintaining the safety, comfort, and cleanliness of the hotel.
  • Ensure proper training programs and procedures are in place according to Brand standards.
  • Select and train employees and keep them informed of company policies; observe their performance.
  • Delegate responsibilities, hold them responsible for standards set forth by the hotel and assist them in improving their level of performance Employee Relations Orders supplies within budgetary guidelines Safety and Sanitation.
  • Inspect the property and implement action to ensure safety from fire, injury, or illness due to unsafe or unsanitary conditions.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests.
  • Provide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associate.
  • Desire to operate a "best in class" hotel.
  • Ensure all employee practices comply with Hospitality Group, Inc. policy and procedures, specific brand standards, and legal requirements.
  • Keep associates well versed in all policies and procedures as pertain to Brand Standards.
  • Lead and actively participate in the hotel's Sales & Marketing effort.
  • Deliver exceptional guest service results measured through guest satisfaction scoring and social media sites such as Trip Advisor.
  • Have excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.


Necessary Skills:

  • Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.
  • Must be responsible for the safety and security of guests, fellow employees, and hotel assets.
  • Have knowledge of fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures.
  • Able to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and in person.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule. We are a 24/7 business that may require work availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Is organized, honest, works well with others, and has an outgoing personality.
  • Maintain a clean and attractive work area, uniform, and person.
  • Able to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.


Required Work Experience:

  • Hotel Management Experience - Minimum 1 year.
  • Choice experience preferred.
