Job Title: Per Diem Telehealth Occupational Therapist

Location: Remote – Based in Dallas-Fort Worth Metro Area (occasional in-person coverage at Senior Living Community)

Salary : $45-50/hr

About the Role:

Vista Physical Therapy is seeking a Per Diem Telehealth Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality virtual care to patients across the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro area. This flexible, remote opportunity also includes occasional in-person coverage at our Senior Living locations , along with responsibility for supervising and signing off on documentation for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

Responsibilities:

• Provide occupational therapy services through secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms
• Deliver in-person treatment and support as needed at our Senior Living clinic
• Develop customized treatment plans addressing physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety, independence, and adaptive strategies
• Supervise COTAs, including reviewing and signing off on documentation in accordance with Texas regulations
• Accurately document evaluations, plans, and progress notes in a timely manner
• Collaborate with other providers to ensure effective, coordinated care

Requirements:

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Texas (required)
• At least 1 year of experience in adult rehabilitation, outpatient, or senior care settings preferred
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and EMR systems
• Excellent communication and clinical reasoning skills
• Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metro with the ability to travel as needed
