Salary Range: $32,210/year

Position Overview

  We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Writer to support our Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the creation and management of technical documentation and proposal materials. This role is ideal for early-career professionals—particularly recent graduates with a background in English or communications—who are eager to grow in a fast-paced, high-performance environment. In addition to writing and editing responsibilities, this position will manage our SharePoint site, ensuring that all digital content is well-organized and accessible.  

Position Responsibilities  

Technical Writing

· Assist in drafting, editing, and formatting technical documents, proposals, and administrative materials in compliance with RFP requirements and deadlines.

· Collaborate with the COO and proposal team to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy across all written content.

· Support the COO with tracking tools and regular updates to leadership on proposal and documentation progress.

· Facilitate effective communication among teams to meet documentation and proposal requirements.

· Conduct research and utilize internal content libraries to support the development of tailored, high-quality proposals.

· Maintain version control and assist in preparing materials for presentations and oral submissions.  

SharePoint Content Management

· Serve as the digital librarian for the company’s SharePoint site, managing the structure, tagging, and accessibility of technical content and templates.

· Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, searchable, and aligned with internal standards.

· Develop and implement best practices for document organization, archiving, and retrieval.

  Qualifications

  Required:

· Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, or a related field.

· Strong writing, editing, and formatting skills with a keen eye for detail.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

· Highly organized, proactive, and eager to learn.

  Ideal Candidate Profile

· A recent graduate or early-career professional with strong writing skills and a desire to grow in a structured, fast-paced environment.

· Comfortable working with driven, high-performing teams.

· Able to take initiative, stay organized, and contribute to a culture of excellence.

  Preferred Skills:

· Experience with proposal development or technical documentation.

· Familiarity with government or commercial contracting processes.

· Knowledge of content management best practices and digital libraries.
