Tax Specialist

Job Title: Tax Professional (All Experience Levels)

Location: Downtown San Francisco, CA (In-Office)

Job Overview:

We are seeking motivated Tax Professionals, from entry-level to seasoned experts, to join our team. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of services while working in a collaborative environment that values your growth and work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax preparation, planning, and compliance services for clients.
  • Engage in diverse projects, including international tax, financial audits, forensic accounting, IRS dispute resolution, and M&A transactions.
  • Manage client relationships and participate in project management to deliver exceptional service.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Pursue continuous learning and professional development, including CPA exam preparation (if not already certified).

  • Base salary: $75,000–$125,000 (depending on experience).
  • Commission: Earn additional income by bringing in new clients.
  • Billable Hours Bonus: Receive 25% of your billable hours in direct pay; increases to 33% once 1500 billable hours are reached.
  • Partner-in-Training Program: Develop managerial and communication skills to prepare for leadership roles.
  • CPA Support: Encouraged to study for and obtain CPA certification (if not already certified).
  • Work-Life Balance: No requirement to work 55+ hours per week, even during busy season.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience in tax or public accounting (open to all levels, from entry-level to experienced professionals).
  • CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA (preferred but not required).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
