Sr. Stats Programmer - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Transform clinical trial data into submission‑ready evidence.

Proclinical is seeking a Sr. Stats Programmer to join a team in Massachusetts. This position requires expertise in SAS programming and familiarity with drug submission requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will focus on generating datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) programming while ensuring proper validation processes are followed.

Skills & Requirements:

• Proficiency in SAS programming, including SAS STAT, GRAPH, and MACRO.
• Strong understanding of the drug development process and clinical trials.
• Familiarity with CDISC standards, ICH, and FDA/EMEA guidelines.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a moderate to large volume of complex tasks with minimal supervision.
• Capability to handle ad-hoc requests with minimal guidance.
• Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, IT, Biology, or Social Science.

The Sr. Stats Programmer's responsibilities will be:

• Develop and perform quality control (QC) programming for SDTM datasets, analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures across multiple clinical trials using SAS software.
• Ensure adherence to standards at the drug program level and integrate data across multiple studies or programs.
• Work independently under the guidance of a lead programmer.
• Communicate issues effectively to the lead programmer or manager.
• Meet project timelines or proactively communicate risks to allow for adjustments.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the department.
