o5group is a multi-brand / multi-channel fashion apparel business with a long and successful history in wholesale manufacturing. Staying true to core values of integrity and respect, we have demonstrated our ability to successfully originate, negotiate, execute, and build strong retail and e- Comm partnerships in apparel. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design process from concept, color, washes, special treatments, finishing’s, trim details – (embroideries, appliques, piping) print direction, and silhouette to product execution.
• Working closely with fashion design partners to ensure the collection ties back to denim.
• Actively shop the local market to identify the most current trends in color, fabric, trim, silhouette, graphic / prints using creative skills to translate effectively and create a mix and match denim assortment
• Responsible for thorough market research including competitive analysis and benchmarking
• Ensure the product is consistent with overall market trends and brand identity.
• Utilize strong creative skills to direct concept, color, washes, treatments, applicable graphic /print, pattern, and silhouette.
• Direct and collaborate with design & print/graphics team to execute a clear, elevated vision each season
• Execute trend presentations each season including creative sample rigging, mood boards and theme direction, and any other presentation material as needed with direction from VP of Design and Merchandiser
• Work with sample room and local vendors to create sample presentations as required by meeting deliverable
• Work with technical team and production team to approve and ensure quality/fit of all product
• Initiate and actively participate in the development of new denim concepts and denim product categories
• Follow up on fabric and trim orders

Requirements:

• 6 - 8 years related work experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Fine Arts
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, and sketchin
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong merchandising, concept, color, design aesthetic
• Strong conceptual graphics and print sensibility
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
