As a Sr. Compensation Consultant, you'll be at the forefront of designing innovative compensation strategies that empower our global team and drive our mission of connecting the unconnected. Key job responsibilities - Design and analyze comprehensive compensation programs that support business objectives and talent strategies - Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to develop compelling compensation recommendations - Collaborate with regional and global compensation partners to solve complex compensation challenges - Develop creative total compensation solutions, including base pay, incentives, and equity strategies - Create detailed documentation and compensation playbooks to support organizational best practices A day in the life Your day will be a blend of strategic thinking, collaborative problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making. You'll engage with cross-functional partners, dive deep into compensation analysis, and craft solutions that support our team's exceptional talent. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree - Experience dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing needs, and delivering measurable results in an agile environment - Minimum of 5 years experience in finance, compensation, or consulting with an in-depth knowledge of core compensation terminology and best practices. - General compensation knowledge required Preferred Qualifications - Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partner well with people at all levels within an organization, including coaching of junior staff - Knowledge of advanced skills in Excel as well as any data visualization tools like Tableau or similar BI tools (familiarity with Tableau preferred) - Experience working on and delivering end to end projects independently - Experience Experience working with complex data sets Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,000/year in our highest geographic market.
