What You’ll Be Doing

The Specialist, Operations Management plays a key role in driving operational excellence and enhancing customer satisfaction by utilizing advanced technical and system expertise. This position is primarily responsible for developing and managing customized reports using BusinessObjects platforms such as DataMart and BIC, ensuring they align with the needs of internal stakeholders and audit requirements. The Specialist also supports daily operational activities to include the servicing a portion of our loan portfolio and other operational task that may be assigned. In addition, the position will proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve overall unit efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, generate, and maintain tailored reports for internal clients and audit compliance using BusinessObjects platforms, DataMart and BIC.
  • Analyze and validate operational data to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and quality.
  • Support daily operations, contributing to the team’s productivity and effectiveness.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements to streamline workflows and reporting procedures.
  • Uphold high standards of quality assurance and customer service.
  • Embrace new concepts, technologies, and responsibilities in a dynamic and evolving environment.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience with BusinessObjects platforms, such as DataMart and BIC, including report creation, customization, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, relational databases, and reporting methodologies.
  • Ability to interpret business requirements and develop effective reporting solutions using BusinessObjects platforms, DataMart and BIC.
  • Experience in data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance within reporting environments.
  • Demonstrated skill in optimizing and automating reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adapting to emerging technologies and changing responsibilities.

  • Detail Oriented - Complete all necessary activities related to the creating custom reports. Act as the Subject Matter Expert in this role as well

“At CIBC, we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $75,000-$95,000 for the market based on experience, qualifications, and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may also include a discretionary bonus component.
