Job Title: Software Developer I Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Software Developer I to join our growing development team. This entry-level to mid-level role is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in software development who are eager to contribute to building scalable and high-quality web applications and services. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who enjoys working across both frontend and backend systems in a collaborative, agile environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain web applications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, primarily in Python and JavaScript.
  • Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Build and enhance frontend features using frameworks like React.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Optimize code and troubleshoot bugs to improve performance and maintainability.
  • Participate in code reviews and apply industry best practices, including testing and version control.
  • Contribute to technical documentation for systems, APIs, and processes.
  • Stay current with new technologies and software engineering practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 0–2 years of professional experience in software development or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with modern web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
