We are looking for a Senior Pl/SQL Developer to support our client's capital markets area.
Data is coming from internal systems as an upstream from Oracle. They also have external data coming in. Data moving all over the place in a lot of different directions.
Financial services experience would be preferred. 10+ years’ experience including hands-on experience as a Pl/SQL Developer.

Rate: $60 - $65 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:• Designing and developing Oracle procedures, functions, triggers, packages, materialized views, and views using advanced features of Oracle 11g and 12c.
• Manage ETL processing with Python, Oracle, and Unix, including both batch ETL and real-time stream processing.
• Load and process large data sets from multiple vendors, performing data cleansing, transformation, and analytics with a focus on data modeling.
• Perform performance tuning for existing SQL and PL/SQL objects and build optimized database components.
• Create complex Unix shell scripts to automate batch job processing and generate real-time and daily reports on a weekly basis.
• Conduct logical and physical database design, data modeling, and prepare design specifications to analyze dependencies and assess risks.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, data mappings, program logic, and flowcharts for all change requests.
• Write advanced queries to identify and remediate potential issues when interfaces fail
Experience Requirements:Financial services experience would be preferred. 10+ years’ experience including hands-on experience with:
1) Performance tuning existing or new
2) Oracle SQL & PL/SQL
3) Experience dealing with massive data sets.
4) Unix shell scripting and Python
5) Some reporting tool experience
6) For ETL, we use SQL loader.

Education Requirements:BS in Computer Science or Equivalent experience.
