Job Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer Java, React, AWS

Location: 100% Remote, Canada

Experience: 8+ Years

Pay Range : CAD $65-75 Hourly

Role Summary: We are hiring for this role where the selected candidate will work on our client's project focused on building scalable cloud-native web applications using modern Java, React, and AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Join a collaborative Scrum team and contribute to daily agile ceremonies
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments
• Review peer code and share feedback to maintain high code quality
• Work with internal stakeholders to identify and fix product bugs
• Build and maintain REST APIs using a microservices architecture
• Develop intuitive frontend features using the React framework

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience building applications with Java, TypeScript, or JavaScript
• Solid understanding of microservices and REST API development
• Confident working with React on frontend projects
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native app design
• Familiar with both relational and NoSQL databases
• Background in agile development teams (Scrum preferred)
• Clear communication and documentation skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Bonus if you've worked on distributed system architecture

Certifications

• AWS certification is a plus
