Job Title: School Psychologist
Schedule: Monday - Friday | Full-Time | In-Person or Hybrid
Assignment Length: Full 2025-2026 School Year (SY)
Overview:
Capital School District is seeking two full-time School Psychologists to provide on-site psychological services to students. These professionals will support students through a variety of mental health and developmental challenges and assist in qualifying students for additional support services. More openings may become available based on candidate availability.
Hybrid Option Available:
+ 3 days in-person for assessments/evaluations
+ 2 days remote for meetings and report writing
+ Remote days are flexible and can be selected by the psychologist
+ Preference is given to full-time in-person candidates
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations
+ Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student success
+ Develop and implement intervention strategies
+ Maintain compliance with state and district regulations
+ Prepare detailed reports and documentation
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current state licensure and/or certification in School Psychology
+ Master's degree in Psychology (preferred)
+ Experience with pediatric and adolescent populations (preferred)
+ CPR certification (if applicable)
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)
+ Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
+ Adherence to all relevant professional standards of practice
