- First priority is to increase applicant pool, respond to applicants in a 24 hour basis, and select/onboard the best applicants. Coordinate with Zone managers as well.
- Manage flow of candidates into our pipeline using sources such as Paycor, indeed, Linkedin, Glassdoor zip recruiter and any other tactics necessary.
- Interview, screen all incoming candidates in the Toledo area and be able to advise on screening issues from remote sites.
- Align recruiting efforts and needs with Executive Management Team
- Determine rate of pay based on metrics provided as well as evaluation of candidate’s experience. Be able to negotiate pay if need be.
- Conduct open interviews and in person orientation 3x weekly or on a case-by-case basis if operations needs support.
- Coordinate with HR using payroll system
- Explaining of our company culture & expectations
- Describe high level responsibilities of each position
- Confirm accurate onboarding paper work is complete including I9’s
- Educate on class c certification and certify all employees
- Retention of all documentation
- Determine placement of each assigned employee using candidate availability and skills vs store location fit.
- Communicate with stores on new personnel as well as acquire needs from field operation on a weekly basis or as needed basis
- Follow up with all new hires to determine if start date was completed in timely fashion
- Support both the field and employees on coordinating transfer,
- Be able to report to field staffing needs, logistical concerns, and critical information on a weekly basis
- Forecast upcoming changes with information from the field as well as direction from leadership.
- Be able to report to the executive team progress of all personnel flow.
- Track all activities Ensure all training documentation on Store Managers is complete
Requirements
- 3+ Years in a recruiting role preferably in a chain or big box format.
- 2+ years of experience in retail (Preferably in Operations)
- Possess the ability to effectively and efficiently manage time
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Office time is Monday-Friday 1st shift, however some evening and weekend work may be required to ensure candidates are followed up on.
- PC skills including Email, browsers, and recruiting platforms such as Paycor

- Ability to work in intermittent temperature for short periods of time
