Description
The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for managing multiple functional areas within procurement operations for the Defense Division. The Purchasing Specialist assists in managing cross functional requirements, working closely with sales, contracts, and supply chain team members to support daily procurement responsibilities. This position requires attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate successfully across teams, customers, and supplier accounts. This is a full-time position located at Darley headquarters in Itasca, IL. Remote work options are available following an 8-week introductory period.

This position currently has no supervisory responsibility but may incorporate direct reports in the future, as
required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m or as
otherwise required.
Travel
This position does not currently require travel.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience preferred.
