Job Posting: Pediatric LPN/RN Caregiver Needed for 16-Year-Old Peds Client

Job Type: Part Time 
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 
7a-7p

 
We're seeking to hire a Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide dedicated in-home care for a 16-year-old client with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy, ventilator support, and seizure precautions. As a valued member of our pediatric care team, you will provide one-on-one nursing care in a supportive home environment. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the client’s medical and personal needs are met with professionalism and empathy. This position offers consistent full-time hours, a positive and family-centered atmosphere, and the opportunity to build a lasting and rewarding relationship with your patient.

🔧 Patient Needs:

• Ventilator & trach care

• Ongoing support and monitoring

   
• Responsibilities :
• Deliver skilled nursing care per the established care plan
• Perform and monitor tracheostomy care and ventilator management
• Implement and adhere to seizure precautions, including timely interventions and documentation
• Monitor respiratory status, neurological status, and overall well-being
• Document all care accurately and in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the family and healthcare team to provide consistent, high-quality care
• Support the client with activities of daily living as appropriate
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment

• Qualifications:

• Current unencumbered LPN/RN license in the state of Florida
• Minimum one (1) year experience as a Registered Nurse in a supervised setting within the last three (3) years
• Successful completion of the skills assessment specific to the areas of experience including any specialty areas
• In compliance with state and Federal regulations
• CPR
• Valid AHCA/ level two background screening
• TB test showing a negative result
