Job Title: Neuro Surgical Assistant

Location: Cincinnati, OH 45219

Pay Rate: $50 – $55/hour (based on experience)

Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Multiple Shifts available

Position Summary:
Seeking a Neuro Surgical Assistant to support neurosurgeons during spinal, cranial, and minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures. This critical role requires precision, coordination, and an in-depth understanding of neuroanatomy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with positioning and prepping for craniotomies and spinal surgeries
• Handle microscopes, retractors, and microsurgical tools
• Provide accurate retraction and suction in sensitive surgical fields
• Support closure using subcuticular and layered techniques
• Ensure proper sterile technique and assist in equipment setup

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in neurosurgical settings
• CAAHEP-accredited program completion or FMG with qualifying U.S. experience
• Excellent knowledge of neuroanatomy and sterile procedures
• BLS (AHA) – Required
• RNFA or NSAA certification – Preferred
