**Marine Electrician - San Diego, CA** **Job Description** + We are seeking an experienced Marine Electrician to perform a variety of tasks related to electrical systems on ships. + The ideal candidate will have the ability to repair and connect equipment for all electrical services onboard without supervision. **Responsibilities** + Repair and connect equipment for all electrical services on the ship without supervision. + Lay out, pull, lift, and install cables and conduits without supervision. + Prepare work area, drill holes, grind metal surfaces, and mount equipment with minimal supervision. + Test electrical equipment in accordance with NAVSEA Standard Items without supervision. + Perform other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position. **Essential Skills** + Electrical installation + Electrical troubleshooting + Electrical repairs + Reading schematics + Conduit bending + Pulling wire + Marine Electrician **Qualifications** + Previous shipyard or Navy experience working as a Marine Electrician or Electrician's Mate. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $25.55 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
