Job Description

SUMMARY
The Manager of Treasury and FP&A will report to the CFO and be responsible for capital planning and structuring, assisting on M&A transactions, developing and implementing treasury strategies to optimize liquidity, maximize returns on investments, manage cashflow and covenant forecasting, ensure sufficient liquidity, implement hedging strategies, oversee banking relationships, evaluate treasury management systems and other financial technologies to streamline processes. The Manager of Treasury and FP&A will provide accurate and timely reporting and be effective in their engagement with stakeholders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Treasury
    • This role will lead the treasury function and report to the CFO
    • Manage, implement and improve the company’s treasury cash management strategies; monitor cash flow, credit and collections, analyzing daily cash balances, and customer payment processing/application to customer balances
    • Perform cash, working capital and covenant forecasting
    • Monitor capital strategy and keep the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) informed as of compliance with key financial covenants and limits
    • Lead capital structure and debt refinancing strategies to ensure the business maintains a flexible capital structure and funding to meet its growth objectives
    • Develop and execute hedging strategies
    • Manage relationships with key lenders
    • Responsible for meeting all reporting requirements for lenders
    • Provide leadership for Treasury related process and system improvements
    • Oversee administration of corporate credit card program
    • Assist with the annual financial audit in relation to certain treasury and hedging reporting matters
  • FP&A
    • Develop concise and meaningful KPIs, systems/processes, controls, procedures, and reports to accurately and timely monitor and report operational and financial results against budget, plan and forecast
    • Develop appropriate dashboards to manage working capital and financial performance
    • Evaluate key large-scale projects and continue to track financial performance of these projects post-award; prepare board materials required to approve large capital projects; evaluate M&A opportunities
    • Monitor adherence to and administration of the Company’s Delegation of Authority policy and procedures
  • Support annual property & casualty insurance renewal process
  • Learn and become an effective back-up for consolidation processes
  • Drive business optimization initiatives with a strong lens on growing the business
  • Commitment to innovation and review in ensuring continuous improvement
  • Assist in and manages special projects as necessary
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of relevant experience within Finance with extensive experience in financial management, treasury, corporate finance/investment banking; insurance and risk management experience is a plus
  • Advanced modelling skills including a high level of proficiency in Excel
  • Cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
  • Developing banking relationships with current and prospective credit facility participants
  • Proven ability to interface with executive leadership and provide strategic advice
  • Experience in policy development, internal controls, and audit processes
  • Excellent project management and process improvement capabilities
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint with the ability to create and present executive level presentations
  • A strong understanding of GAAP and tax would be looked upon favorably
EDUCATION
  • Degree in Finance or Business; MBA or master’s in finance preferred; professional certifications are highly valued (e.g., CTP, CPA, CFA)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands and work environment are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. In addition to continuous sitting and working on a computer, the role may involve continuous reaching forward between shoulder/waist, bending/twisting/rotating, and simple grasping and writing. Occasional exposure to an indoor manufacturing environment, chemicals, and/or fumes may occur. The ability to stand and walk frequently and occasionally lift and carry up to 25 lbs. is required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Inside; Office and some manufacturing floor. This position is expected to travel to subsidiaries as needed.

SALARY  Exempt $110k - $135k Annually
