Location Fort Worth, TX | Remote-US - MUST LIVE IN THE DFW AREA
Compensation & Schedule
• $27.00 per hour
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• W2, Seasonal/Temp (90-day assignment)
• Start Date: ASAP
ROLE IMPACT
As a Loss Analysis Specialist I, you play a critical role in minimizing financial risk by conducting detailed reviews of mortgage servicing files and claims. Your expertise ensures accurate loss calculations, root cause identification, and compliance with default servicing standards. Success is defined by your ability to validate data, execute post-claim reconciliations, and drive financial recoveries for the client.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform QC reviews of pre-filed claims to validate accuracy
• Conduct in-depth analysis of servicing files from default to final claim resolution
• Post sale and claims funds to loans per established posting rules
• Determine need for and assist with supplemental claims
• Execute root cause analyses and submit chargebacks for avoidable losses
• Differentiate between avoidable and unavoidable losses and reconcile final accounting
• Process approved losses to clear balances and close out workstations
• Serve as SME for client and internal escalations
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years in mortgage servicing, with focus on claims and quality review
• Financial transaction application and default cash posting experience required
• Proficiency with ICE MSP servicing system
• MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
