Job Description:

Role: Cooks prepare and cook a variety of foods in a restaurant or catering

setting.

Responsibilities:

• Follow recipes and prepare ingredients.

• Cook food items to order.

• Ensure food quality and presentation.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards.

• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.

• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

• Answer, report, and follow the executive or sous chef’s instructions.

• Wash and chop vegetables, cut meat, and perform other food preparation tasks.

• Follow food safety guidelines.

• Assist cooks and chefs as needed.

Qualifications :

• 2 to 3 years of cooking experience in a fine dining or corporate kitchen environment preferred

• Knowledge of various cooking techniques and recipes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in a similar role.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

• Knowledge of health and safety rules in a kitchen.
