iFrog Marketing Solutions is looking for a Junior Developer on our Labs Team!

This person will work alongside our team in Easton, Maryland.

The Junior Developer will assist in maintaining current technology solutions and developing new technology solutions to aid in the advancement of iFrog and its partners. The Junior Developer will have a passion for learning and writing clean and readable code. They will be resourceful and take initiative in developing solutions. The Junior Developer will work with the Full Stack Developer to assist iFrog and its partners gather both non-technical and technical requirements. The Junior Developer will also understand and assist in creating and maintaining documentation of current and future systems implemented by LABS

Essential Functions:

1. Maintain and enhance code-base for previously deployed solutions.

2. Propose technical and functional designs.

3. Develop solutions using various technologies.

4. Create and maintain documentation for products and solutions.

5. Proactively report on status (Ex. wins, risk, roadblocks, etc).

6. Works with the Full Stack Developer to define, execute, and report on test cases.

7. Remain up to date on current information technology and trends.

8. The ability to work on a hybrid 3+2 office/work-from-home model (5 days at the office for the initial 90 days).

9. All other duties as assigned by iFrog Executive team and Full Stack Developer.

Required Education & Experience:

1. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

2. Experience with programming languages (Ex. JavaScript, TypeScript, etc.).

3. Experience using frontend web frameworks (Ex. React, Angular 2+, Vue).

4. Ability to create clean, maintainable, and portable code.

5. Familiarity interacting with APIs (Ex. REST, JSON, XML, and GraphQL).

6. Understanding of requirements gathering.

7. Ability to find solutions by utilizing all effective means and resources (Ex. Google, Stack Overflow).

8. Ability to stay organized and strong attention to detail.

9. Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Preferred Education & Experience:

1. Experience with Google Cloud Platform.

2. Experience with Firebase.

3. Experience with databases (Ex. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, NoSQL, and Redshift).

4. Experience using source control to document progress, revisions, and updates to project code and collaborate with other developers.
