Job Title: Information Technology Intern	Department: IT & Cybersecurity
Reports to: Director, IT & Cybersecurity	Effective Date:  May 2025
Location: Houston, TX	Travel: 5-20%

POSITION PURPOSE :  
This is a paid temporary, non-exempt position report to the Director, IT & Cybersecurity. Directly support KCE’s Director, Information Technology & Cybersecurity in a number of areas including: assisting in the maintenance and oversight of company hardware, software and cloud systems, troubleshooting IT-related issues, documentation review and improvement, remote site networking, and all other duties as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in performing hardware and software installation procedures.
• Provide support in diagnosing hardware, software and networking issues and troubleshooting activities.
• Assist with the creation and documentation of IT and Cybersecurity procedures.
• Assist with planning and rollout of new IT and Cybersecurity projects and technologies.
• Assist in the onboarding of IT resources (hardware and software) for new employees.
• All other IT-related duties as required for the broader KCE company.

WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Background in Information Technology
• Cybersecurity knowledge
• MS Azure experience
• Very motivated self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work well in a small team

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of working at a computer
