Grant Writer – Civil Engineering & Public Infrastructure
Western Pennsylvania | Full-Time | Onsite

We are seeking a skilled Grant Writer to support civil engineering and surveying projects with a strong focus on public infrastructure and community development . This role plays a critical part in securing funding opportunities that benefit municipalities, utilities, and development initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify and research grant opportunities from local, state, and federal funding sources.

  • Prepare proposals and applications for infrastructure, utility, and community development projects.

  • Collaborate with engineering and municipal teams to develop grant applications that align with project goals.

  • Support municipalities in navigating funding programs (e.g., DOT, EPA, FEMA, USDA, DCNR, etc.).

  • Communicate complex technical information in clear, persuasive written proposals.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in grant writing or funding development (infrastructure/public works preferred).

  • Knowledge of civil engineering terminology and municipal project lifecycles.

  • Strong technical writing, research, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using grant databases/portals (Grants.gov, SAM.gov, or similar).

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
