Global Procurement Project Manager (Temporary Contract) Location United States : The Global Procurement Project Manager role will support various Procurement projects, including supplier changes, material developments, and evolution of best practices and process development within the function. This individual will create documentation and processes for others to use and should be comfortable in ambiguous situations that require some level of independent decision making. Note: this is a contractor position with targeted hours between 16-20 per week. Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions Think globally - Project Manager must understand the global nature of Oliver's business and make decisions through a global lens and with feedback from key stakeholders, including those within key functions and based at each site. Lead and manage assigned projects and execution of critical tasks by internal and external stakeholders. Serves as project consultant for Commodity Managers, which includes general support and/or overall feedback on project direction. Establish and lead project review meeting cadence, updating Procurement team on project status, deadlines, and roadblocks; ensuring prioritization aligns with department resources. Support additional projects within function, such as: documentation and standardization of key processes and tools used to support the function. Performs other related duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Education & Experience B.S. in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Packaging areas of study or equivalent experience managing projects Preferred Qualifications Certifications: PMP Certification - preferred, not required Essential Job Functions Strong emphasis on analytical and strategic thinking skills. Strong project execution skills. Team player with excellent problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to lead through change and adversity. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Works well with people across the organization to gather information, make decisions/recommendations, and drive improvement. Expert in Microsoft Office. Special Requirements Travel - no planned travel although flexibility appreciated Working hours - flexibility required to support global regions and teams
