As a Garden Center Install Crew Leader, you will oversee the installation of plant materials purchased from our Garden Center at residential properties. Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and support crew members in daily landscaping assignments
- Delegate tasks to maintain productivity and ensure project profitability
- Encourage ongoing learning and development among team members
- Install a variety of trees, shrubs, and perennials at residential properties
- Create new landscaping beds and maintain cleanliness of work areas
- Deliver and spread mulch, topsoil, and compost as needed
- Comply with and enforce all safety rules and regulations
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Landscape Manager
Qualifications
- Knowledge of landscape practices and procedures
- At least one year of experience in landscaping or a related field
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently, follow directions, and enforce company policies
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, delegate, and mediate
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb ladders, kneel, and pull for prolonged periods
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Consistent and dependable attendance
- Must be 18 years of age or older
