Job Description

ETL Application Developer Location Hybrid work in Arlington, VA : ASRC Federal is seeking a seasoned ETL Developer to join our team to support a DEA contract in Arlington, VA. Work arrangement: Hybrid/Onsite Clearance: Public Trust (must be a US Citizen) Responsibilities:
Shall formulate and define system scope and objectives.
Shall devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
Shall prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written and shall 81 design, code, test, debug, and document those programs.
Shall be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
Requirements:
Strong understanding of the Data warehousing techniques and star/snowflake models.
Must have experience in DataStage Director and job designs:
Experience in DataStage parallel and sequential job scheduling for multiple jobs.
Experience in DataStage job scheduling process with Autosys and DataStage scheduler.
Experience in DataStage error resolutions.
Experience using Parallel processing Infrastructure using DataStage.
Experience in developing Data stage jobs for extract and transformation to load to data warehouse.
Experience with Join, Lookup, Merge stages.
Experience using data stage functionalities like file loading and unstructured data.
Experience with Oracle databases and building PL/SQL Procedures, Functions, Triggers and packages.
Experience in writing Unix/Linux shell scripts.
Must be a US Citizen and ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust.
Must be able to pass a government issues background check.
Education:
BS/BA in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or equivalent
At least four (4) years' experience in the field. Eight (8) years of related experience is equivalent to a BS/BA in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics or related discipline.
