The Diversity in Leadership Institute (DLI) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is dedicated to creating equitable educational outcomes for Black and Latinx students in California by cultivating a diverse and culturally competent pipeline of public education leaders. With a focus on racial diversity, equity, and inclusion (RDEI), DLI seeks to transform the educational landscape by increasing the representation of Black and Latinx leaders in K-12 schools through our signature 4-pronged approach which includes:

ABOUT THE ROLE
Our team is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in advancing our mission. Reports to the Director, Strategic Partnerships and works closely with the CEO, you will be responsible for leading our grant acquisition and management efforts, contributing to our overall revenue growth strategy. In your day to day role you will identify funding opportunities, prepare and submit grant proposals and reports, manage our grant budgets, and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
What You Will Do:
Grant Strategy and Implementation
Storytelling and Communications
Grant Compliance Monitoring
Grant Sourcing & Operations
Identify existing and prospective grants and other strategic partners across local, state, federal, county, and national levels
Serve as a point of contact to all funding agencies and organizations, facilitating clear and consistent communication
Assist CEO and senior staff in identifying networks and connections to open new doors for funding opportunities

The salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000, commensurate with experience
