We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Remote Data Entry Typist to join our team. This position involves typing and entering data into various systems or platforms from a variety of source documents. The ideal candidate will be fast, accurate, and capable of handling repetitive tasks with consistency. You will help ensure that all data is entered accurately and efficiently, contributing to the smooth operation of our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Type and enter data from scanned documents, handwritten files, or digital sources into systems or databases.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy while entering large volumes of data.

  • Verify the accuracy of data entered and make corrections as needed.

  • Organize and maintain electronic files, ensuring that all records are easily accessible.
  • Perform basic data formatting and data validation tasks.

  • Meet daily or weekly data entry quotas and deadlines.

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

  • Communicate effectively with the team to address any data-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Typist or similar role.

  • Excellent typing speed (at least 40-50 words per minute) with high accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to focus on repetitive tasks.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) or Google Docs/Sheets.

  • Good organizational skills and time management.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
