Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and managing data within various internal systems. This role is essential to maintaining the integrity and accuracy of company records.
Responsibilities
Accurately input data into databases and systems
Verify data for accuracy and completeness
Maintain and update records regularly
Prepare and sort documents before data entry
Review and correct errors in data
Generate reports and ensure proper filing of records
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure data consistency
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar role
Strong typing skills (minimum 50 WPM) with a high level of accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Familiarity with database systems and administrative tasks
Strong organizational and time management skills
Attention to detail and ability to handle repetitive tasks
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
