Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Data Entry Specialist in Jessup Maryland 20794 with $18.00/hr pay for a 9-month potential right to hire. In this role, you will play a vital part in pulling individual medical files from the storage box, identifying required data fields from each file, and entering that information into the database for the client. If you have 2yrs of experience in data entry, comfortable working in warehouse environment, lifting some boxes of files with accuracy and good typing skills – APPLY NOW!  

Shift Schedule: (06:00AM - 02:30PM) 5 days a week including 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks. OT and weekend shift depending on the workload

  

Roles and Requirements:  

• Consistently achieve a keystroke rate of 10,000 kph with 100% accuracy, validated through 'double key' verification. 
• Able to carry cartons weighing 30-50 lbs. up to 20 feet, with one box transported every 5-7 minutes. 
• Capable of lifting and lowering cartons from/to pallets and workstations, weighing 30-50 lbs. and with lift heights ranging from 13” to 45”, at a frequency of one box every 5-7 minutes. 
• Protective footwear is mandatory, meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards for safety toe caps and a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best." 
• Attire should be suitable and professional for the work environment. 
• Can work from M-F between 06:00AM - 02:30PM

Essential Functions:  

• Pull individual medical files from the storage box. 
• Identify required data fields from each file. 
• Enter the information into the client's database. 
• Return reviewed files to the box after all files are processed. 
• Work is typically performed from a seated position, except when physically moving boxes.
