Job Description

Description: The Data Analyst – Clinical Integration is responsible for supporting statistical analysis of population health based care and outcomes involving multidisciplinary teams. This position will collaborate with internal customers to capture requirements, design, create, document, manage and fulfill requests for on-going and/or ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and scorecards.

Typical Duties

  • Assists with the identification of analytic approaches for population health.
  • Implements quality control procedures to ensure data integrity.
  • Prepares data for analysis (i.e. validation, recoding, etc.).
  • Implements statistical analysis plan and generates results.
  • Collaborates with internal customers to capture requirements, design, create, document, manage and fulfill requests for on-going and/or ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
  • Assists with the development, implementation and maintenance of front-end presentation (dashboards), automated report solutions and other BI solutions to support tactical and strategic reporting needs of the organization.
  • Manages multiple tasks and be comfortable working in an environment with shifting priorities.
  • Works effectively within a collaborative and interdisciplinary work setting.
  • Actively seeks new knowledge of methods for data management and analysis.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business, Healthcare or other related field from an accredited University.
  • 3 plus years of experience in Healthcare related informatics, performance measurement, or analysis with strong relational database SQL skills.
  • 2 plus years of experience in designing and developing performance measurement data marts and automated reporting systems.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in biostatistics, statistics, or other quantitative discipline from an accredited college or university.
