Well-established, locally owned public accounting firm with a loyal client base, known for delivering high-quality tax, audit, and advisory services seeking a licensed CPA who is ready to step into a partner-track role and help shape the firm’s long-term future.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on accounting and tax expertise with the drive to develop client relationships, mentor staff, and contribute to strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax engagements

• Lead audits, reviews, and compilations across a variety of industries

• Provide proactive tax planning, business consulting, and financial guidance to clients

• Cultivate and grow client relationships and identify opportunities for new business

• Mentor and develop junior staff to strengthen the firm’s next generation of leaders

• Collaborate with current partners on strategic planning, firm operations, and business development initiatives

• Stay current on evolving tax regulations, accounting standards, and best practices

Qualifications

• Active CPA license (required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Master’s in Accounting or Taxation preferred

• 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience (tax and/or audit) with demonstrated leadership responsibilities

• Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive business development

• Strong knowledge of GAAP, federal and state tax codes, and auditing standards

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
