• Case Mix: Orthopedics, OB, Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy, Cataracts
FACILITY INFORMATION
• Trauma Level: Level 3
• EMR System: Epic
• Specialty Backup Available: Surgical staff knowledgeable for after-hours assistance
• Support Staff Available: APPs (CRNAs and AAs), Anesthesia Tech (weekdays)
• Reason for Coverage: Long-term locum needed, weekend and 24-hour call coverage

• Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Must stay in hotel near facility
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Regional anesthesia for orthopedic procedures
• Spinal/epidural for OB
• Central lines
• Arterial lines
• Airway procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Vermont license preferred
• Board: BC/BE in Anesthesiology
• DEA: Active DEA Certification
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Other Qualifications: Team player; comfortable working solo or with APPs
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Solo and medical direction of APPs from 7a to 3p
• Perform and oversee required procedures
• Provide 24-hour call with initial in-house coverage
• Weekend 47-hour home call as needed
• Provide coverage for OB, Endo, Bronch, and other OR cases
